| Ostrich's have a very long neck. The male Ostrich is black with white wings and the female is a dull brown colour. Ostrich live in grassland throughout South Africa. Ostrich are farmed comercially in the Cape Province. Their feathers are sold and their skins are highly sought after for manufacture of handbags and accessories. Ostrich meat is prized for its low fat content. Ostrich are very fast runners. | |
